I.Kamal Guha Krishi Bipanana Kendra at Barobisha under Alipurduar Regulated Market Committee in Jalpaiguri District.

II.Ramjan Ali Bazar at Panjipara under Islampur Regulated Market Committee in Uttar Dinajpur District.

III.Chitta Basu Bazar at Deganga under North 24 Parganas Regulated Market Committee in North 24 Parganas District.

IV.Hemanta Basu Market near Brace Bridge on Budge-Budge Road & Taratola Road Crossing under South 24 Parganas Regulated Market Committee in South 24 Parganas District.

V.Netaji Marketat suisa Railway Stationat Suisa under Jhalda Regulated Market Committee in Purulia District.

VI.Birsha Munda Bazar at Mohammad Bazar under Suri Regulated Market Committee in Birbhum District.


3.Established Netaji Subhas Training Institute of Agricultural Marketing at Shasmalpara, Baidyabati in Hooghly District - First training centre exclusively for training on Agricultural Marketing in Eastern and North Eastern States. The Training Centre will impart Training to all sections of Market functionaries including employees of Regulated Market Committees, Officials in Marketing Directorate & State Marketing Boards, Cold Storage Personnel, Small & marginal farmers on improved marketing techniques through standardisation, grading & Packing etc. Traders, Members of Self Help Groups engaged in packing, Transportation & Marketing of Agricultural produce. The Institute will carry short time condensed Certificate Courses on Agricultural Marketing for educated youths for employment generation. The Institute in collaboration with National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM) of Govt. of India will take up training of market functionaries and officials of State Marketing Boards of Eastern & North East States.


4.Subdised vans for BPL families in rural markets for transporting agricultural produce from farm to markets.


5. Subsidised low cost storage godowns for the rural farmers.

6.Under Process of Implementation during the financial year 2010-2011.

I.Cool Chain Network in rural and semi urban markets for the farmers and traders with multi chamber facilities with different degrees of temperatures for temporary storages increasing shelf life of agricultural produce for transportation and remunerative price to farmers.

II.Introduction of Refrigerated vans for transportation of agricultural produce from cool chain and other rural markets to urban consumer markets.

III.Market infrastructure development in the form of godowns, Auction Platform, Shops/Stalls, Community Hall, Toilet facilities in rural markets, lights, farmers rest house, integrated agri-marketing centres, farmers medical clinic, Soil testing units at market yards, Drinking water & Toilet facilities.

iv.Development of primary rural markets with infrastructures like (a) Auction Platform, Drinking water & Toilet facilities, Solar Panel Lights in districts of Paschim Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia, Dakshin Dinajpur, South 24 Parganas, Uttar Dinajpur etc.

V.Kamal Guha Krishi Bipanan Bazar - A Model Urban Market of Agricultural produce on Eastern Metropolitan Bypass near Kolkata Metropolis.

VI.Development of Biren Moitra Bazar at Tulsihatta (Harishchandrapur) in Malda District.
